The cost to a family for a year of essential programs and services averages $1,552. What is important – and what makes Betty’s Love different from other charities: Families seeking our help often cannot afford to pay for it. Why? On average, families with a ‘Betty’ living in a nursing home or assisted-living facility spend $16,689 per year in out-of-pocket expenses for sundries and other items not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or other funding sources (alz.org, 2009).
Our cost per family in 2012 will average $2053.67, excluding salaries or rent. What also makes Betty’s Love different from other charities: Even/Especially in these difficult times, no family has ever been turned away for inability to pay.

ALL Betty’s Programs and Services are customized – per each family’s unique needs. Our goal? Within three years, ALL Families will receive customized services for free. - A Customized Family Matters™ ($360) – ‘Betty’s Love 101:’ the basics we believe families need to know into, through, and after every stage of their journeys and ‘how to’ begin doing all they CAN … with Love
- Two customized Learning Programs ($180 each) like A Proper Diagnosis™ – guiding families to ensure they know everything with which they are dealing) – and Siblings (Ar)Rivalry™ – ensuring families do all they CAN do … together, with Joy, acceptance, and mutual respect
- Betty’s Activities™ like Betty’s Day Out ($90) – individualized engagement and assessment – and Betty’s Boot Camp™ ($270) for Families – tailoring an hourly, daily Family Action Plan-with-Love per Mom’s or Dad’s specific needs and abilities
