THANKS to ALL who supported the LGHWC at its annual Crafts Fair! LGHWC hosted a wonderfully successful Crafts Fair and several other FUNdraising activities to benefit Betty’s Love! The Cafe provided a homemade lunch; Sloppy Joes really ARE food-with-Love!™ Kids’ Raffle and Face Painting pleased ‘children’ of ALL ages! General Raffle and Grand Raffle were engaging – with Special Thanks to the Three P. Girls for so enthusiastically selling raffle tickets! [My ears are still ringing with the JOY of your bells!] Of course, we had information for Alzheimer families, boosted brains of ALL ages (Thanks, Kelly’s Friends!), and nourished DARK chocolate, too!
LGHWC is a community outreach club that includes all women residing in the La Grange Highlands School District. They normally meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at the La Grange Highlands Presbyterian Church. The evenings are enjoyable, social events that also focus on their work in the community.
