Chocolate Fix? Make it….
The Good News: In a recent study released by the British Medical Journal, the risk of cardiometabolic disorders was reduced by chocolate.
The Better News: The higher the amount of chocolate, the lower the risk of heart attack and stroke!
The Disappointment: The amount of chocolate was only 2″ or so, twice a week. Sigh….
The study indicates that the antioxidant value of chocolate might be the cause of the reduced risks. More study is warranted; study volunteers expected to be plentiful. Read more on this study in the Chicago Tribune and in the British Medical Journal findings.
In another recent study, eating a chocolate bar a day “can keep you slim.”
