We make time for who we Love and what we love to do … right?

We get it.  Betty’s Love understands that, because of your generous and Loving heart, you expend your energy Caring-with-Love for your Mom or Dad and, too often, have none left to nature, nurture, and Care-with-Love for yourself.  And, if we wait ’til we have time … well, that’s why one Caregiver-with-Love shared she hadn’t had a bubble bath in double-digit years.  We get it.

One of Betty’s Tenets is:  Love Is an Action VerbTM … which includes – which we believe must start with – Caring-with-Love for yourself.

We invite you to get someone to stay with Mom or Dad – wherever in the world you live – and find a Quiet, sacred space.  (You are always welcome to our Heartquarters - and its coolest bathtub ever!) Because we Love you already, we need you to make time for yourself every day.

Join us for Caring-with-Love for Yourself™ – one of our most popular programs designed to teach you what to do, why, and ‘how to’ take care of yourself with practical, proven principles and specific, easy-to-follow steps-with-Love.

In our free Embrace Family Support Meetings, Betty’s Breaks, and our and your own sacred spaces, may you find the support, information, and activities your family needs.  May you remember that, in Betty’s Love, you are never alone – and, always, you are Loved.

[private_membership]If we asked you to, you would do this for us … right?  Of course you would!  So, because being good to you does Perpetuate Betty’s Love, please, make time today to Care-with-Love for yourself….

  • First things first:  Schedule someone today to stay with Mom or Dad … and call us and book a Betty’s Break for next month!
  • Schedule an hour (or 10 minutes) every day to pray or meditate – and just be.
  • Enjoy nature in a walk along on a shore, through a park, or, simply, around your block!
  • Learn and practice simple Yoga breathing and stretching exercises to alleviate anxiety, promote calm, and enhance your brain and body health.
  • Build a network of friends who do something you love to do … which might require you taking some time to just be and know what that is!  
  • Make time at least once a month to participate in an Embrace Meeting.  When you tell just one person who ‘gets’ what is in your mind and heart, you are never alone again.
  • Visit Betty’s Love Garden and other sanctuaries, making time for yourself during your lunch hour or between Saturday errands, to re-center and re-energize in Quiet, nature, and Prayer.
  • Visit Betty’s Love Library to learn more about Living-with-Love despite Alzheimer’s disease – or to simply spend a rainy afternoon ‘lost’ in the pages of a trashy-romance novel!  (We’ve got The Bible and The Quran and The Book of Mormon, too.)  And remember: Betty’s Love Library is also available on line!

However you Care-with-Love for yourself (including remembering to simply breathe!) … wherever in the world you are … whatever is happening on your journey … please keep it within the day, ‘Reen” … and remember:
