Our Stories
Sharing our experiences of Hope, Joy … and Love.
So much we CAN do. So much JOY!™
Betty’s Tenets™ remind us that we and our brains are snowflakes: In the history of Alzheimer’s disease, no two journeys have been – ever will be – the same.
Each Betty’s Love Family’s journey – and each Family Member’s experiences – into, through, and after Alzheimer’s, dementia, and cognitive impairment are unique. Our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional experiences can be unchartable. We get it. We journey, too – with you.
Therefore, the more stories of our individual journeys we can share with others, the more we can provide support, empowerment, and Love along others’ journeys. In Our Stories like these submitted by people like you, may your family find:
- experiences with which you can identify
- embrace in knowing you are not alone
- empowerment in the information that can help you and the activities you can practice
- Hope to bolster you
- Strength to sustain you
- Faith to carry you when your Hope or strength falters
- Joy to surprise and encourage and reward you every day
- gratitude – always gratitude – for the Blessings God surprisingly but unfailingly Gifts to each of us throughout our unique and unchartable journeys
- mostly and everlastingly, Love.
We wish you all God’s Blessings – however you define God and whatever and wherever you need God to be – in Our Stories of shared experiences, loss, laughter, Joy and Faith and Hope … and in Betty’s Love.
Please share your story! Please submit 500-1,000 Words (or whatever it takes to tell it!) and a photograph of you and your Blessed Warrior, and send Your Story – and a brief permission statement – to families@bettyslove.org. Thank you! Then, please join us for Betty’s University programs we can tailor to your Family.
And thank you for supporting Betty’s Vision of JOY. With your support, our grassroots movement will keep changing brains, lives, and the world … one family like yours at a time.
